This timepiece combines historical horology with modern innovation, celebrating the brand’s milestone achievement of stable and resilient Resonance.

The Zeitgeist features a stainless steel case measuring 43 mm in diameter, paired with an 18K white gold dial in an off-center design. Inside beats the Armin Strom Manufacture Caliber ARF21_ZG, a manual-winding movement with twin-seconds and flyback functionality, offering an impressive 80-hour power reserve. Limited to just 25 pieces worldwide, this exceptional creation pays tribute to the centuries-long pursuit of chronometric consistency, a challenge first explored by Christiaan Huygens in 1665. Armin Strom solved the Resonance Fragility Problem in 2016, making this phenomenon practical for wristwatches.

Encased in a 41 mm stainless steel case and paired with an integrated steel bracelet, the watch features a fully openworked architecture. The traditional dial is replaced by a blue PVD-coated mainplate, creating a vivid stage for the movement’s choreography. The dial is the face of a watch — a canvas where heritage meets artistry. For the first time, the BENU Power Reserve combines its signature linear power reserve indicator with Azurage decoration. This intricate guilloché pattern of ultra-fine concentric grooves animates the outer chapter ring, creating a captivating interplay of light. The softly textured matte center in shimmering argenté silver contrasts with applied blue numerals and indices, while the brand logo and minute track appear in understated grey.

Completing this refined composition are newly designed hands, handcrafted from steel in the Glashütte atelier. Each hand is meticulously beveled, polished, and then heat-blued using traditional thermal treatment. This hand-wound calibre incorporates a differential mechanism for the power reserve display and features the brand’s signature innovations: manual winding with a pusher, a cantilevered balance cock with micrometer screw adjustment, and a separately removable winding module. Through the sapphire crystal back, the movement reveals its artistry — broad Glashütte ribbing, hand-engraved cocks, and raised gold chatons secured by blued screws.

A genius watchmaker, scientist, author, and initiator of the German Watchmaking School, Grossmann profoundly shaped the craft of horology and the fate of his hometown. Rather than merely imitating historical concepts, the modern manufactory honors his legacy by blending his cutting-edge philosophy with modern engineering. This dedication to technological perfection and exceptional aesthetics cements its place among the world's elite elite watchmakers.

To commemorate this bicentennial occasion, the brand has unveiled its third anniversary special edition: the TEFNUT Silver-Plated by Friction. Debuting on April 29, 2026, this launch presents an exclusive premiere for collectors—the very first time that the sleek TEFNUT model is made available in a stunning 750/000 yellow gold case, alongside a 750/000 white gold version. Both variations pay homage to their heritage by incorporating an "1826" engraving on the balance cock and showcasing a vintage 1875 "M. GROSSMANN" logo on the dial.

At the heart of the timepiece lies the ultra-flat manufactory calibre 102.1, a hand-wound movement measuring just 4 mm in height and 26 mm in diameter. This compact footprint enables the watch to retain its remarkably elegant, low-profile silhouette. The calibre embodies classic Grossmann pillar movement architecture with a 3/5 plate, incorporating his signature raised gold chatons, an optimized mainspring barrel with bilateral jewel bearings, and a stepped balance cock with a micrometer screw. The defining aesthetic feature of this model is its striking dial, which boasts a rare "silver-plated by friction" finish. Executed entirely by hand in the brand's ateliers, a master artisan brushes a specialized paste of silver powder, salt, cream of tartar, and water onto the brass surface to create a velvety, fine-grained texture that beautifully diffuses light. To provide a contemporary contrast, the numerals, minute scale, and historic logo are rendered in a vibrant green hue. Hovering above are extraordinarily fine, hand-crafted lance-shaped hands, polished in gold for the yellow gold model and annealed to a brown-violet tone for the white gold edition.
