Garrick is a renowned British watchmaker creating exquisitely crafted timepieces by hand. Founded by David Brailsford and Simon Michlmayr, Garrick established its workshop in Norfolk to uphold fine watchmaking traditions through innovation and bespoke artistry.
Working in strictly limited volumes, Garrick’s skilled team produces no more than 50 watches annually. They utilize meticulous techniques, ensuring a high proportion of components—including dials, hands, and movement parts—are manufactured in-house. Operated under positive air pressure, the pristine workshop enables flawless craftsmanship.
Each Garrick watch exudes superb finishing, from bevelled bridges and circular graining to ornate chatons. Clients may also commission customized surface textures and adornments. Garrick’s exclusive calibers further exemplify mechanical mastery, featuring high-frequency balances and immaculate hand-tuning. While honoring centuries of horology, the brand also pushes new boundaries through collaborations with master movement maker Andreas Strehler.
Dedicated to bespoke creations and client satisfaction, Garrick provides a personalized design service. Timepieces emerge as unique works of art reflecting individual tastes and style. Now internationally recognized among aficionados, Garrick continues its mission to produce finely crafted British watches in modest numbers yet vast detail—a testament to the enduring artisanal skills driving the English watch renaissance.

The Garrick S5 in Salmon brings British artisanal watchmaking into a refined 39mm 904L stainless steel case, featuring an in‑house hand‑guilloché salmon dial crafted on a traditional rose engine, giving each piece its own unique depth and texture. An applied steel chapter ring—decorated with satiné circulaire, sauté piqué, and laser‑engraved Roman numerals inked by hand—adds classical refinement, complemented by heat‑blued steel hands for vivid contrast and clear readability. The compact 39mm × 8mm profile directly reflects collector demand for a more elegant and wearable form.
Inside, the S5 is powered by the in‑house Garrick S5 manual‑wound calibre, finished in textured rhodium and featuring a rear‑mounted balance secured by a three‑spoke bridge, running at 21,600 vph with 20 jewels and a beat adjuster for fine regulation. Sapphire crystals, 100m water resistance, and handmade calf leather straps complete the piece. While global production of the S5 is extremely limited—around ten pieces per year—this Salmon Dial edition for Hong Kong is restricted to just 5 pieces, making it one of the rarest S5 configurations ever offered.
