The new Rose Gold edition distinguishes itself through its interplay of warm tones and finely executed textures. The 18K rose‑gold case forms a glowing frame around the black‑gold grenage dial, a surface enriched by depth, contrast, and granular refinement. The dial’s twin layouts—each dedicated to one time zone—are clearly defined by black azurage chapter rings, ensuring intuitive reading while maintaining the balanced symmetry that defines the Resonance line. The rose‑gold‑coloured, faceted and polished hands, together with matching applied indexes, elevate the aesthetic with a luxurious brightness. At six o’clock on each sub‑dial, polished and blackened steel sun-and-moon day/night discs add functional clarity and a poetic visual touch. Completing the ensemble is a matte anthracite alligator strap accented with grey stitching and secured with a matching 18K rose‑gold pin buckle, creating a cohesive, modern, and refined profile.

At the heart of the watch lies Armin Strom’s hand‑wound, in‑house Calibre ARF22, a movement defined by the brand’s patented resonance clutch system. This mechanism couples two independent balance wheels and allows them to synchronise through resonance, a natural physical phenomenon that enhances chronometric stability. What might otherwise remain a theoretical curiosity is transformed into a practical complication: each regulating organ governs its own time display, enabling two entirely independent time zones. Each dial also features a corresponding day/night indicator, making the watch particularly intuitive for world travellers. Operating at 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) and offering a 42‑hour power reserve, the ARF22 movement brings a dynamic, kinetic quality to the dial, where the twin oscillators interact in real time. The aesthetic presentation of the movement reflects haute horlogerie values, with meticulous hand‑polished bevels, black‑polished steel components, circular graining, perlage, and Côtes de Genève on full display through sapphire crystals on both sides. This fully skeletonised masterpiece reveals the depths of its mechanics, paying tribute to Mr. Armin Strom’s pioneering artistry in skeletonisation—a craft at the heart of the brand’s philosophy and heritage.

For the first time, the in-house calibre appears in a solid 18K rose gold case, enriching the collection with a warmer character. Rose gold-coloured finger bridges, hands, and applied indexes mirror the tone of the case, while a sleek black textile strap provides a refined modern contrast. Measuring 41 mm in diameter, the case remains compact and ergonomic, while its skeletonised architecture gives the watch a distinctive presence—a harmonious balance of technical craftsmanship and precious metal elegance.

Seven Days of Precision
At its heart lies the hand-wound Calibre ARM21-S, a reinterpretation of Armin Strom’s first in-house calibre. Two mainspring barrels work in series to deliver a steady flow of energy for seven days, wound by two ratchet wheels visible on the dial side—a distinctive Armin Strom signature. Operating at 3.5 Hz, the calibre ensures consistent precision and stability in daily wear.

Inspired by historical pocket watches, the conical power reserve mechanism is complemented by a 3D power reserve indicator, displaying remaining energy with exceptional clarity. Central hours and minutes keep the display symmetrical, while a skeletonised small seconds at 9 o’clock adds an engaging sense of motion.

Arnold & Son has unveiled its new "Perpetual Moon 41.5 Steel Colours of the Moon" collection, a series of highly exclusive, limited-edition timepieces inspired by the changing celestial hues of Earth's natural satellite. Detailed in the official release document, "ENG_A&S PM 41.5 Steel Colours of the Moon.doc", the collection features three distinct versions—the Blue Moon, Golden Moon, and Red Moon—each celebrating a unique atmospheric or seasonal phenomenon that alters the Moon's appearance and has fascinated civilisations throughout history.

Reinterpreting the iconic Perpetual Moon collection, these new models introduce a 41.5 mm stainless-steel case that balances horological exclusivity with everyday versatility. In a watchmaking first, Arnold & Son has applied a pioneering Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) treatment directly onto precious mother-of-pearl. This innovative process creates deep, shifting reflections across the dials and moon-phase skies, showcasing the natural organic layers of the material with patterns that recall the flowing grain of Damascus steel.

The astronomical precision of the moon phase is enhanced by Super-LumiNova hidden beneath the colored mother-of-pearl moon disc, accompanied by hand-painted luminescent constellations of Cassiopeia and Ursa Major—a poetic tribute to historical mariners who relied on them for navigation. Bringing this celestial mechanics to life is the in-house A&S1512 manual-winding calibre. This movement provides a generous 90-hour power reserve and displays meticulous luxury finishes, including radiating Côtes de Genève and a secondary moon-phase indicator, all visible through the sapphire crystal case back.

Each of the three references is paired with a matching hand-stitched alligator leather strap and secured with a stainless-steel pin buckle. To maintain their extreme exclusivity, production is strictly limited to just 18 pieces per version.
