A faithful tribute to the original model, the Tinkler 1958 repeater celebrates Angelus’s rich heritage of striking watches. Driven by a self-winding quarter-repeater movement, this double limited edition, available in gold or steel, continues the tradition of measuring instruments that built the manufacture’s reputation. From its establishment in 1891, the name Angelus has been synonymous with the chiming of a bell, a legacy reinforced by one of the Maison's first patents for a silent strike governor in 1896. Since then, repeater mechanisms have remained at the heart of Angelus collections, even being adapted into Braille-repeating watches for blinded soldiers during the First World War.

Inspired by this glorious history, Angelus is reissuing one of its rarest and most refined models: the Tinkler, based on the original 1958 edition. In 1958, Angelus filed a patent for a striking wristwatch, which was immediately followed by the original Tinkler—a pioneer of water-resistant, self-winding quarter-repeater watches. The new 38-mm case charms with a decidedly 1950s aesthetic that is clean, understated, and elegant. At 9 o’clock, the crown is balanced by a pusher that activates the quarter repeater, serving as a functional and historical hallmark of this legendary model.

The Tinkler 1958 edition is driven by the new Angelus A600 calibre, a mechanical self-winding movement that beats at 4Hz and offers a 70-hour power reserve. On request, the pusher at 9 o’clock triggers a sequence where each hour is marked by a clear strike on the first gong, followed by a double strike on two gongs to signal each quarter hour. The movement's finishing demonstrates the watchmaker's extreme attention to detail, featuring a snail-finished main plate, palladium-plated bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève, and a tungsten sunburst oscillating weight.

This new release is part of the La Fabrique line, where Angelus continues its legacy as a maker of specialty watches designed for specific activities or professional uses. The Tinkler 1958 is limited to 15 pieces in 18-carat yellow gold and 25 pieces in stainless steel, each paired with an alligator flank leather strap—ink blue for the gold version and saddle brown for the steel. Combining a modernist-style numeral 12 with exclamation-shaped hour markers at the quarter positions, the watch serves as a modern embodiment of a daring yet functional tradition.

Arnold & Son unveils the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Cliff Grey Edition, a poetic tribute to the cliffs of Cornwall and the legacy of John Arnold, the renowned marine chronometer-maker. This limited edition of 28 pieces in 18-carat red gold reflects the brand’s deep connection to celestial navigation and English heritage.

The dial is adorned with the exclusive Stellar Rays motif, a textured pattern that plays with light through layered transparent lacquer. Its Cliff Grey tone evokes the misty British coastline, while the moon phase display—among the largest in watchmaking—glows in mother-of-pearl enhanced with Super-LumiNova. Set against a midnight-blue sky, the moon is surrounded by hand-painted constellations, Ursa Major and Cassiopeia, symbols of guidance and exploration.

The case, measuring 41.5 mm in diameter, is sculpted with refined lugs and a slim bezel that opens up the dial to its full celestial display. On the reverse, a secondary moon-phase indicator allows for precise adjustment of the moon’s age.

Inside, the manually wound A&S1512 calibre offers a 90-hour power reserve and tracks lunar cycles with remarkable precision. So accurate is its mechanism that it would take 122 years of continuous operation to accumulate a single day’s deviation from the actual lunar cycle.

Crafted entirely in-house in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the movement is finished with Geneva stripes, blued screws, and circular graining. The watch is completed with a warm grey alligator leather strap and a matching red gold pin buckle.

Housed in a beautifully sculpted 41mm 18ct (5N) gold case, this timepiece seamlessly brings precious materials into the bold, architectural world of the Pulse design family. Redefining the brand’s classic codes with a sharper, sportier attitude, the watch features Chronoswiss’s iconic onion crown, a partially knurled coin-edge bezel, and an exclusive new integrated black rubber strap. This exclusive, modern masterpiece is strictly limited to just 50 pieces worldwide.

At the heart of this timepiece is an innovative, three-dimensional dial that showcases a revolutionary take on a traditional decorative art. For the first time, a hand-guilloché brass surface is refined using a highly precise sandblasting process that directs ultra-fine synthetic corundum particles onto the dial. The result is a shimmering, frosted finish that transforms the geometric guilloché pattern into a crystalline landscape of light and depth. This contemporary backdrop is beautifully contrasted by polished, blue PVD-coated appliques, blued steel screws, and polished, blued steel hands in the brand's signature "Pyramid" shape.

Powering the watch is the Chronoswiss Manufacture Caliber C.6002, an automatic movement developed in partnership with La Joux-Perret that offers a 55-hour power reserve. Designed specifically for global travelers, the movement features a dedicated dual-time-zone module; home time is tracked on a 12-hour disc at 3 o'clock, a second time zone is displayed via a 24-hour GMT disc at 9 o'clock, and central hands sweep the dial to indicate minutes and seconds. The exquisite inner workings of the caliber are visible through a sapphire crystal case back, revealing a skeletonized tungsten rotor, polished escape wheels, and a ruthenium-plated bridge finished with a classic Geneva cut.

The solid 26-piece gold case, weighing 48 grams, balances satin-finished and sandblasted textures with a partly polished bezel, offering 5 bar (50 meters) of water resistance. Secured to the wrist by a black integrated rubber strap and a matching black DLC-coated stainless steel and 5N gold buckle, the watch represents the ultimate expression of the brand’s "Modern Mechanical" philosophy. The Tribute 1 Green features a striking off-centre dial in forest green, adorned with a hand-engraved grain d’orge guilloché pattern and crisp white Roman numerals. The openworked motor barrel, secured by a polished finger bridge in stainless steel, echoes the case design and showcases Armin Strom’s signature fusion of symmetry and mechanical artistry. Three years ago, independent watchmaker Andreas Strehler launched his new brand, Strehler, to present his philosophy and craftsmanship in a more accessible form. The first model, Sirna, was designed as an essential time‑only watch that distilled his precision, expertise, and uncompromising finishing. The second model, Säntis, takes the brand naturally into the realm of complications. Like Sirna, which was named after the town Sirnach, Säntis draws its name from the mountain near Strehler’s workshop, the highest peak of the Appenzell Alps.

World Time Concept & Crown Operation
Responding to a collector’s request and inspired by his earlier Sauterelle Heure Mondiale, Strehler created a world time watch that remains elegant, intuitive, and deeply personal. Säntis uses a Cottier‑style world time display operated entirely by a single three‑position crown—preserving design purity and simplicity. The 40 mm medical‑grade stainless‑steel case blends refinement with ergonomics and stays below 10 mm thick even with the added mechanism.

Titanium Dial & Time Zone Display
The titanium dial features a sculptural three‑dimensional texture, individually machined, engraved, and hand‑polished. Its pattern is adapted from a design created with Eric Giroud for Sirna. Surrounding it, the 24‑hour ring marks day and night and rotates once per day, aligning with a fixed city ring listing 24 time zones. Central European Time is indicated by “Strehler” rather than a city, and DST‑observing cities are marked with a sun symbol. Its steel pin buckle is crafted in‑house, echoing the case’s lines. The watch is delivered in a beechwood box with a cognac leather travel pouch. While not limited, production is naturally restricted due to the fully in‑house manufacturing of cases, dials, hands, and movements, resulting in only 30–50 watches per year shared between Sirna and Säntis.

Greubel Forsey presents the final edition of the Balancier Contemporain, marking the definitive conclusion of this iconic calibre. This timepiece is housed in a 39.6mm stainless steel case – a material that has only been used twice before in the history of the Atelier. Limited to just 33 timepieces, this edition will be built and delivered exclusively in 2025. Once complete, the Balancier Contemporain calibre will be permanently retired and will never be made again.

More than a final edition, this stainless steel interpretation is a statement of purpose – it is the rarest and most exclusive case material in the Atelier’s repertoire. Its presence here is deliberate: to honour the legacy of the Balancier Contemporain with purity, restraint, and resolve.

Compact, Yet Monumental

When it was introduced, the Balancier Contemporain redefined expectations – delivering the full Greubel Forsey experience in just 39.6mm. This final edition preserves that feat of engineering and design. Under its high-domed sapphire crystal, the gold dial reveals a rich interplay of levels, textures, and finishes. A sunburst blue hour-ring frames the composition, while a deep blue minute-circle and sectorial indications for the small seconds and power reserve create both contrast and clarity. A large visual opening draws the eye to the in-house 12.6mm balance wheel, suspended above a flat, black-polished gold plate that provides visual depth and dramatic reflection.

The movement is composed of 256 parts, each hand-finished to the highest standard. The bridges are in nickel silver, frosted and spotted by hand, with perfectly polished bevels and countersinks, straight-grained flanks, and a subtle blue treatment unique to this edition. The balance wheel bridge is flat black polished steel – one of the most demanding finishes in haute horlogerie – with hand-polished bevels that reflect light beautifully. The balance wheel itself is mounted above a flat black-polished gold plate, a surface so refined it becomes both technical and architectural.

On the movement side, a black-polished gold plate is engraved in relief with the fundamental values of Greubel Forsey – invisible to the wearer, yet finished with the same uncompromising care. Olive-domed jewels are set in gold chatons, with hand-polished countersinks that catch the light at just the right angle. Every component, visible or not, is treated with the same reverence – as if each part could stand on its own as a miniature work of art.

A Closing Statement – and a New Beginning

This is the last timepiece to carry the Balancier Contemporain calibre – but it is also the first to signal a new direction. With this final edition, Greubel Forsey opens a new chapter focused on small-diameter timepieces. Over the coming years, this creative momentum will continue to build, exploring new dimensions of mechanical expression, proportion, and elegance – all without compromise.
