This creation stands out through its extraordinary natural ruby dial, sourced and crafted by a local Swiss stone artisan. The brand selected only genuine ruby exhibiting depth of colour, fine inclusions, and naturally occurring variations—features that are not flaws but signatures of authenticity, shaped by geological processes over millions of years. As light moves across the dial, subtle tonal shifts appear, infusing the watch with a vibrant mineral presence that contrasts strikingly with the symmetry and modernity of the exposed mechanics.

Beyond its visual impact, this edition embodies ARMIN STROM’s belief that materials must carry meaning. While natural ruby asserts its aesthetic and symbolic presence on the dial, synthetic ruby jewels within the movement fulfil their longstanding horological role of reducing friction and ensuring long-term precision. At the core of the watch lies the hand-finished Calibre ARF21, a manufacture movement entirely designed and produced in-house. Its defining feature is the brand’s patented Resonance Clutch Spring, which connects two independent regulating systems, enabling the balance wheels to oscillate in harmonic resonance. This phenomenon enhances chronometric stability and is visually showcased by a pusher at 2 o’clock that resets both seconds hands simultaneously—a dramatic demonstration of mechanical synchronicity in action. Operating at 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) and offering a 48-hour power reserve, the movement transforms a centuries-old scientific principle into contemporary watchmaking mastery.

Arnold & Son continues its mastery of ornamental stones with the launch of the Ultrathin Tourbillon Onyx. Available in 18-carat 5N red gold or 950 platinum, this exquisite timepiece is limited to just eight pieces per version. The design features a broad dial crafted from polished natural onyx, offering an intense black backdrop that beautifully contrasts with a unique matt-finished sub-dial.

At the heart of this creation is the A&S8300 manufacture calibre, which stands as one of the slimmest flying tourbillon movements in the industry at only 2.97 mm thick. Technical refinements to the regulating organ and tourbillon cage have boosted the power reserve to an impressive 100 hours. Armin Strom unveils its latest horological creation, the Dual Time GMT Resonance Manufacture Edition Blue, strictly limited to just 50 pieces worldwide. Drawing from classical watchmaking codes, this exceptional timepiece introduces a subtle retro-chic character through a deep blue PVD-coated mainplate and gear-train bridges. Positioned directly on the dial side, the vibrant blue execution elevates open-worked architecture to new heights, delivering a visually captivating contrast that redefines traditional hand-finishing.

The aesthetic composition centers around two finely grained white dials, each adorned with white azurage chapter rings that catch the light while revealing the rich blue mainplate underneath. Accentuating the design are blue PVD-coated applied indexes and facetted polished hands that echo the hue of the underlying movement. Each display is paired with a black-polished day/night disc depicting sun rays and a uniquely crater-textured crescent moon, while a matte dark blue alligator leather strap with white stitching seamlessly ties the entire color palette together.

The double sapphire crystal construction reveals exquisite decorative detail on both sides, including laser-engraved relief lettering on the reverse mainplate, bright polished bevels along the blue bridges, and rhodium-colored barrel bridges adorned with classic Côtes de Genève.

oritz Grossmann celebrates the 200th birthday of its founder with the launch of the TEFNUT 36 Silver-Plated by Friction Turquoise Blue, a timepiece limited to just 12 pieces worldwide. This special anniversary edition combines traditional 19th-century craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic, paying homage to the visionary watchmaker, scientist, and founder of the German Watchmaking School. The manufactory in Glashütte continues to honor this rich heritage by blending historical techniques with contemporary design.

The dial of the watch is crafted using a meticulous silver-plating by friction technique, also known as silver-plating by grit, which is executed entirely by hand through multiple complex steps involving silver powder, salt, tartar, and water. This traditional process imparts a velvety, matte structure with remarkable optical depth, further enhanced by a unique green-tinged blue hue that shifts dynamically depending on the angle and lighting. Contrasting the textured surface are engraved Roman numerals lacquered in blue, alongside the historic 1875 'M. Grossmann' logo, scale markers, and manually crafted steel hands annealed to a vibrant blue hue.

Housed in a slender and expressive 36-millimeter stainless steel case with a flat profile, the watch is designed to offer exceptional comfort and elegance on any wrist. It is complemented by a hand-stitched grey kudu leather strap featuring a pin buckle in stainless steel. Inside ticks the manufacture calibre 102.1, a hand-wound mechanical movement measuring just 3.45 millimeters in thickness, featuring a pillar movement architecture, a three-fifths plate, a stepped balance cock with a Grossmann micrometer screw, and a special '1826' anniversary engraving.
