To commemorate his bicentenary, we are proud to unveil the TREMBLAGE Gold anniversary edition, a tribute that bridges his 19th-century spirit with the pinnacle of modern artisanal watchmaking.

This exceptional release introduces two limited editions, crafted in 750/000 rose gold and 950 platinum, with each variant strictly limited to just eight pieces worldwide. The soul of these timepieces lies in the solid rose gold dial, which has been meticulously hand-engraved using the rare "tremblage" technique. This traditional method involves a master engraver using a specialized burin to create a multi-directional, finely textured matte surface, resulting in a mesmerizing play of light that serves as a backdrop for the raised, hand-polished numerals.

The movement powering these anniversary models is the exquisitely finished Calibre 100.1 manual-winding movement. In a direct nod to the founder's legacy, the balance cock features a unique hand-engraved "1826," marking the year of Grossmann’s birth. Angelus unites the chronograph's key functional scales—telemeter, pulsometer, and tachymeter—in a single design. True to its heritage as a maker of functional timepieces, Angelus brings together the expertise developed through its previous instruments in the Instrument de Mesures. Produced in two limited editions of 25 pieces, this watch is a genuine instrument of measurement, designed to calculate elapsed time, the speed of sound, distance travelled and heart rate. Using a single chronograph hand, it integrates three functions, each with its own dedicated scale. Housed in a 39 mm steel case, its three-dimensional dial is both highly legible and meticulously graduated, giving the Instrument de Mesures the character of an authentic tool watch with a distinctive vintage charm and singular identity.

One Instrument, Multiple Measurements
Integrating these three scales alongside the essential minute track required a particularly sophisticated design approach. The amount of information to be displayed, combined with the need for legibility and clarity, led Angelus to adopt a distinct colour code for each function. This arrangement is reinforced by a three-dimensional dial construction, featuring a domed centre and outer edge connected by a sloping intermediate section. The telemetric scale is situated on the highest level at the periphery of the dial. The pulsometer extends across the angled intermediate section, and the tachymeter, in the form of a spiral, is located closest to the hands.

The In-House A5000 Chronograph Calibre
The Instrument de Mesures is powered by Angelus's in-house A5000 chronograph calibre. Its classical architecture showcases numerous intricately shaped components, providing an ideal canvas for high-end finishing. Faithful to the great traditions of chronograph watchmaking, the A5000 incorporates a column wheel and a horizontal clutch, both defining features of traditional chronographs.

A faithful tribute to the original model, the Tinkler 1958 repeater celebrates Angelus’s rich heritage of striking watches. Driven by a self-winding quarter-repeater movement, this double limited edition, available in gold or steel, continues the tradition of measuring instruments that built the manufacture’s reputation. From its establishment in 1891, the name Angelus has been synonymous with the chiming of a bell, a legacy reinforced by one of the Maison's first patents for a silent strike governor in 1896. Since then, repeater mechanisms have remained at the heart of Angelus collections, even being adapted into Braille-repeating watches for blinded soldiers during the First World War.

Inspired by this glorious history, Angelus is reissuing one of its rarest and most refined models: the Tinkler, based on the original 1958 edition. In 1958, Angelus filed a patent for a striking wristwatch, which was immediately followed by the original Tinkler—a pioneer of water-resistant, self-winding quarter-repeater watches. The new 38-mm case charms with a decidedly 1950s aesthetic that is clean, understated, and elegant. At 9 o’clock, the crown is balanced by a pusher that activates the quarter repeater, serving as a functional and historical hallmark of this legendary model.

The Tinkler 1958 edition is driven by the new Angelus A600 calibre, a mechanical self-winding movement that beats at 4Hz and offers a 70-hour power reserve. On request, the pusher at 9 o’clock triggers a sequence where each hour is marked by a clear strike on the first gong, followed by a double strike on two gongs to signal each quarter hour. The movement's finishing demonstrates the watchmaker's extreme attention to detail, featuring a snail-finished main plate, palladium-plated bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève, and a tungsten sunburst oscillating weight.

This new release is part of the La Fabrique line, where Angelus continues its legacy as a maker of specialty watches designed for specific activities or professional uses. The Tinkler 1958 is limited to 15 pieces in 18-carat yellow gold and 25 pieces in stainless steel, each paired with an alligator flank leather strap—ink blue for the gold version and saddle brown for the steel. Combining a modernist-style numeral 12 with exclamation-shaped hour markers at the quarter positions, the watch serves as a modern embodiment of a daring yet functional tradition.

The Gentissima Oursin 41 features a 41mm sandblasted Grade 5 titanium case, meticulously set with 234 white gold beads, echoing the organic geometry of the sea urchin. Formed through a meticulous process that blends centuries-old glassmaking with modern precision, aventurine reveals a surface alive with light. The result is a dial that evokes a night sky in motion, creating a refined contrast with the architectural symmetry of the resonance movement. This celestial texture is enhanced by the warm tones of the movement: the rose gold-coloured mainplate adds depth beneath the dial-side display, while rose gold-coloured hands and applied indexes introduce clarity and visual identity. Together, these elements create a balanced interplay between cool luminosity and warm mechanical presence. Housed in a 39 mm stainless steel case and paired with a dark grey alligator strap, the Aventurine edition offers a contemporary and restrained frame, allowing the dial's dimension and the movement's symmetry to take centre stage.

Powering the watch is the manual-winding manufacture calibre ARF22, entirely designed, developed and produced in-house. Its patented resonance clutch—a signature Armin Strom innovation—synchronises two independent regulating systems, allowing both balance wheels to oscillate in perfect harmony. This constant interaction elevates chronometric stability, transforming a rare physical phenomenon into a practical advantage. Each time zone features its own hours, minutes and day/night indicator, offering intuitive functionality for travellers. Operating at 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) with a 42-hour power reserve, the ARF22 unites scientific ingenuity with everyday usability.

Finishing in Depth
Visible through sapphire crystals on both sides, the movement reveals Armin Strom's signature open-worked architecture and hand-finishing. The rose gold-coloured mainplate establishes a warm, luminous foundation on the dial side, while matching gear-train bridges on the reverse side echo this tone, creating a cohesive visual language. This harmony of colour and structure accentuates depth and contrast, reinforcing the three-dimensional expression of the calibre and the brand's commitment to the Science of Movement. On the dial side, the mirror-polished balance bridge, finished with hand-bevelled edges, stands out as a focal point, its steel surface catching the light in striking counterpoint to the warm rose gold-coloured mainplate beneath. Rhodium-coated and steel components introduce a refined metallic grey tone, balancing the overall composition. oritz Grossmann celebrates the 200th birthday of its founder with the launch of the TEFNUT 36 Silver-Plated by Friction Turquoise Blue, a timepiece limited to just 12 pieces worldwide. This special anniversary edition combines traditional 19th-century craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic, paying homage to the visionary watchmaker, scientist, and founder of the German Watchmaking School. The manufactory in Glashütte continues to honor this rich heritage by blending historical techniques with contemporary design.

The dial of the watch is crafted using a meticulous silver-plating by friction technique, also known as silver-plating by grit, which is executed entirely by hand through multiple complex steps involving silver powder, salt, tartar, and water. This traditional process imparts a velvety, matte structure with remarkable optical depth, further enhanced by a unique green-tinged blue hue that shifts dynamically depending on the angle and lighting. Contrasting the textured surface are engraved Roman numerals lacquered in blue, alongside the historic 1875 'M. Grossmann' logo, scale markers, and manually crafted steel hands annealed to a vibrant blue hue.

Housed in a slender and expressive 36-millimeter stainless steel case with a flat profile, the watch is designed to offer exceptional comfort and elegance on any wrist. It is complemented by a hand-stitched grey kudu leather strap featuring a pin buckle in stainless steel. Inside ticks the manufacture calibre 102.1, a hand-wound mechanical movement measuring just 3.45 millimeters in thickness, featuring a pillar movement architecture, a three-fifths plate, a stepped balance cock with a Grossmann micrometer screw, and a special '1826' anniversary engraving.
