For the first time, the in-house calibre appears in a solid 18K rose gold case, enriching the collection with a warmer character. Rose gold-coloured finger bridges, hands, and applied indexes mirror the tone of the case, while a sleek black textile strap provides a refined modern contrast. Measuring 41 mm in diameter, the case remains compact and ergonomic, while its skeletonised architecture gives the watch a distinctive presence—a harmonious balance of technical craftsmanship and precious metal elegance.

Seven Days of Precision
At its heart lies the hand-wound Calibre ARM21-S, a reinterpretation of Armin Strom’s first in-house calibre. Two mainspring barrels work in series to deliver a steady flow of energy for seven days, wound by two ratchet wheels visible on the dial side—a distinctive Armin Strom signature. Operating at 3.5 Hz, the calibre ensures consistent precision and stability in daily wear.

Inspired by historical pocket watches, the conical power reserve mechanism is complemented by a 3D power reserve indicator, displaying remaining energy with exceptional clarity. Central hours and minutes keep the display symmetrical, while a skeletonised small seconds at 9 o’clock adds an engaging sense of motion.

Every component of the Calibre ARM21-S is decorated by hand, reflecting Armin Strom’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship. Hand-polished bevels, Geneva stripes, circular graining, and finely finished screw sinks demonstrate uncompromising attention to detail. Limited to just 22 timepieces, this latest edition continues the evolution of the movement first introduced in 2023, pushing the boundaries of hand-finishing by introducing a treatment never before executed at the Atelier: a frosted titanium bridge, hand-finished with a steel brush across its entire curved surface.

Housed in the signature 41.50mm Convexe titanium case, the Balancier 3 combines this innovative finishing with vibrant blue tones to create a three-dimensional landscape where high-performance chronometry meets unparalleled ergonomic design. The variable geometry of the case is engineered to follow the natural curvature of the wrist, while the multi-level openworked bridges provide a sense of visual lightness despite the movement's technical density.

Performance without compromise defines the heart of the Balancier 3, where technical density meets a striking sense of visual openness. This hand-wound movement is composed of 282 individual parts, featuring two series-coupled fast-rotating barrels that deliver a 72-hour chronometric power reserve. At its core, the in-house variable-inertia balance wheel measures 12.60mm in diameter and is meticulously fitted with six gold mean-time screws to ensure absolute precision.

The functional layout remains faithful to its original architectural concept, displaying hours and minutes on a suspended central bridge alongside a rotating small seconds disc. While the dial side offers a three-dimensional view of the mechanics, the movement side reveals a power-reserve indication integrated into the frosted titanium bridges. Moritz Grossmann, the independent Saxon manufacture celebrated for its uncompromising craftsmanship and technical ingenuity, introduces the latest evolution of its iconic BENU Power Reserve. This new interpretation embodies the brand’s guiding principle: progress in harmony with tradition.

A Dial That Captures Light and Time
The dial is the face of a watch — a canvas where heritage meets artistry. For the first time, the BENU Power Reserve combines its signature linear power reserve indicator with Azurage decoration. This intricate guilloché pattern of ultra-fine concentric grooves animates the outer chapter ring, creating a captivating interplay of light. The softly textured matte center in shimmering argenté silver contrasts with applied blue numerals and indices, while the brand logo and minute track appear in understated grey.

Completing this refined composition are newly designed hands, handcrafted from steel in the Glashütte atelier. Each hand is meticulously beveled, polished, and then heat-blued using traditional thermal treatment. Their elegant curvature and needle-fine tips exemplify the precision and artistry that define Moritz Grossmann.

The Poetry of Mechanics: Power Reserve Indicator
Mechanical timepieces invite interaction, and the power reserve display is a charming expression of this dialogue. Positioned beneath 12 o’clock, the linear indicator reveals a two-tone bar driven by a differential gear train. At the heart of the BENU Power Reserve beats the Calibre 100.2, an evolution of the manufacture’s foundational movement. This hand-wound calibre incorporates a differential mechanism for the power reserve display and features the brand’s signature innovations: manual winding with a pusher, a cantilevered balance cock with micrometer screw adjustment, and a separately removable winding module. Through the sapphire crystal back, the movement reveals its artistry — broad Glashütte ribbing, hand-engraved cocks, and raised gold chatons secured by blued screws.

The BENU Power Reserve is offered in rose gold and white gold, each with a 41 mm case that reflects the brand’s commitment to timeless proportions. Adding to its rebellious character is a white UV-reactive leather strap that transforms into glowing purple when exposed to sunlight—an unexpected and surreal tribute to the energy behind this creation. Signature Chronoswiss elements such as the onion crown, coin-edged bezel, and patented Autobloc screw-in lugs remain intact, anchoring the watch in its heritage while embracing a futuristic aesthetic.
