Arnold & Son introduces a radiant new chapter in feminine watchmaking with the Perpetual Moon 38 White Gold Aventurine Edition. Limited to just 18 pieces, this poetic timepiece captures the magic of moonlight and the brilliance of the stars.

Encased in 18-carat white gold, the 38 mm watch features a dial crafted from blue aventurine glass, evoking a starlit sky. The bezel, lugs, and crown are adorned with 80 brilliant-cut diamonds, while 12 marquise-cut diamonds mark the hours. At its heart lies a mother-of-pearl moon disc, framed by hand-painted constellations of Ursa Major and Cassiopeia, enhanced with Super-LumiNova for a celestial glow.

Powered by the A&S1612 manual-winding movement, the watch offers a 90-hour power reserve and an astronomically precise moon phase complication that deviates by only one day every 122 years.

A brown guilloché mainplate, rose gold-colored bridges, and a floating off-centre sapphire dial create a refined and coherent composition. The watch is paired with a matte brown nubuck leather strap, adding an earthy elegance to the overall aesthetic.

At the heart of the timepiece is the Caliber ASB19, Armin Strom’s groundbreaking automatic movement. It incorporates a patented stop-work declutch mechanism and Geneva cross within the barrel, ensuring consistent torque delivery throughout its 72-hour power reserve. A micro-rotor enables efficient winding while preserving the symmetry and visibility of the movement — a hallmark of Armin Strom’s design philosophy.

Every component, visible or hidden, is hand-finished to haute horology standards. Techniques such as beveling, straight-graining, perlage, Geneva stripes, and black-polished screws are applied with precision and care. Encased in a 41 mm stainless steel case and paired with an integrated steel bracelet, the watch features a fully openworked architecture. The traditional dial is replaced by a blue PVD-coated mainplate, creating a vivid stage for the movement’s choreography. Every component is arranged in perfect symmetry, emphasizing depth, contrast, and clarity.

At its core is the manual-winding Calibre ARM21, developed and assembled entirely in-house. The 43 mm case features alternating brushed and polished finishes, enhancing its sculptural presence. Beneath the sapphire crystal, a bold black off-centre dial showcases a handcrafted sunray guilloché pattern, created using a traditional rose engine lathe. A chapter ring with circular finishing adds depth and texture, while a dark grey Alcantara strap completes the refined look.

At the heart of this timepiece lies the Caliber ARF21, a manually wound movement that exemplifies Armin Strom’s pioneering work in resonance watchmaking.
