Industry
Established in 1988
by Emil J.F. Klingelfuss and Jean-Claude Biver with the purpose
of representing Swiss watch manufacturers in Asia. From the very beginning Swiss
Prestige has specialized itself in the field of mechanical timepieces.
Blancpain and Oris were amongst the first brands Swiss Prestige helped to
build up in various countries across the Asian and Pacific region, and was
for over 15 years (1988-2005) the sole agent of this famous brand. Other
exclusive brands Swiss Prestige helped to establish in Asia were Gerald
Genta and Ulysse Nardin.
Today the company is firmly
established as a leading agent of fine Swiss watches throughout Asia,
with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei. Through its
head office and subsidiaries, Swiss Prestige is representing well-known
Swiss watch brands in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand and
Australia. All offices have a full service centre with well-trained watch
technicians.
Swiss Prestige is owned by
its founder and Chairman Emil Klingelfuss, with minority participations by
some company executives, thus guaranteeing continuous growth and
prosperities. In July 2006 Ms Jacqueline Ng took over the operational
responsibility of the Swiss Prestige Group as their CEO and Managing
Director.
